Naomi Jacobs is an Assistant Professor in bioethics with a focus on new medical technologies at the Department of Philosophy, University of Twente. Her research integrates bioethics and ethics of technology through methodologies like Capability Sensitive Design and Value Sensitive Design, aiming to embed ethical considerations into emerging data-driven health technologies.
She earned her PhD from the Philosophy & Ethics Department and Human-Technology Interaction Department at Eindhoven University of Technology, where her dissertation explored ethics by design for vulnerable populations. Her work aligns with interdisciplinary collaborations at 4TU.Ethics & Technology.
