Naomi Darling

Naomi Darling, AIA (she/her) is a Five College Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Mount Holyoke College. She holds a BS/Engineering from Princeton University, MFA in Sculpture from Monash University, and MArch from Yale. Her work bridges sustainable design, cultural studies, and pedagogy through projects like the Nitobe Memorial Hall in Sapporo and the Amherst Green Bandshell. Research emphasizes environmental stewardship, social equity, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
