Nandan S. Anavekar

Dr. Nandan S. Anavekar is a Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, serving as a consultant in Cardiovascular Medicine and Radiology at Mayo Clinic. He leads the Adult Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship program and specializes in advanced cardiac imaging, particularly in congenital heart disease, pericardial diseases, and thoracic aortic aneurysms. His clinical focus includes critical care cardiology and management of cardiac infections.

Education: M.B., B.Ch. from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, followed by residency and fellowship training at Mayo Clinic programs in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Advanced Cardiac Imaging.
