Research Interests: Dr. Kang's research focuses on empirical asset pricing, analyst forecasting and earnings announcements, big data applications in finance, and hedge fund dynamics. His work bridges quantitative analysis with financial market behaviors.
Service Roles: He has actively served as a Seminar Organizer (2020–Present) and Recruiting Committee Member (2018–Present) within the Finance department. Professionally, he is a Reviewer for the FMA Asia/Pacific Conference (since 2024) and participates in university governance through the Faculty Evaluation Process Committee (since 2022) and Faculty Senate (since 2022).
