Nako Nakatsuka

Nako Nakatsuka is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the School of Engineering (STI) and the School of Life Sciences (SV). She leads the Chemical Nanotechnology Laboratory (CHEMINA) at the Biotech Campus building B3 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Her research focuses on chemical nanotechnology, surface science, and materials engineering, with applications in life sciences and advanced materials. She teaches the course Surfaces and Interfaces, which explores atomic/molecular structures and thermodynamic principles influencing material properties.
