Dr. Najma Rachidi is a Senior Researcher and Team Leader of the Molecular Parasitology team in the PARSIG Unit at Institut Pasteur & INSERM U1201, Paris. She has led multiple international consortia including ANR-TranSig and collaborated with institutions like the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine, ManRos Roscoff, and University of Ulm.

Her research focuses on Leishmania-host interactions, particularly secreted signaling proteins like CK1.2 that modulate macrophage immune responses. Using SILAC proteomics, CRISPR tools, and RNAseq, her team investigates exosome-mediated kinase export, host substratome mapping, and lysosomal reprogramming in infected cells.
Scientific contributions include 20 publications (h-index 12, 2429 citations) and grants totaling 500k€ from ANR, Labex, and PTR programs. She serves on editorial boards (Frontiers in Cellular Microbiology) and reviews for major journals including PLoS ONE and Molecular Microbiology.
