Dr. Naim Abdulmohdi is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Quality Improvement Research at Anglia Ruskin University's School of Nursing. With 20+ years in critical care nursing (including Royal Papworth Hospital), he teaches acute/critical care courses and directs research on simulation-based education and workforce well-being.
His research portfolio includes NIHR-funded projects on simulation efficacy (£60K), staff resilience programs (£1M+), and technology-enhanced patient discharge systems (£221K). Current doctoral supervision explores clinical decision-making, sleep apnea management, and AI in primary care.
As Deputy Chair of the UK Council of Deans for Health Simulation Reference Group and Associate Editor of Clinical Simulation in Nursing, he shapes national nursing education standards. Recent publications analyze simulation's impact on clinical decision-making and COVID-19's effects on nurse resilience.
