Nahyun Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at Drexel University. She holds a PhD in Mass Communications from Pennsylvania State University (2022), an MS in Journalism and Mass Communication from Iowa State University (2017), and a BA in Television & Film from Ewha Womans University. Her research examines strategic communication, organizational social influence through messaging, and cognitive/affective processing of mediated information involving moral judgments.
Kim's work focuses on how organizations impact society through strategic communication and how individuals process mediated information in morally complex contexts. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges public relations, corporate ethics, and cognitive psychology.
