Nahiyan Azad

Nahiyan Azad is Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at University of Wisconsin-Parkside's College of Business, Economics, and Computing. He holds a PhD from University of Calgary and B.S.S. from BRAC University. His research focuses on monetary economics, macroeconomics, and energy economics.

Azad investigates complex interactions between monetary policy, financial markets, and energy economics, with particular focus on spillover effects across developed and emerging economies. His work examines how policy uncertainties propagate through global financial systems.
