Nagihan Gür is an Associate Professor in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Social Sciences University of Ankara (ASBU), Turkey. She is a scholar specializing in Ottoman literary traditions, translation practices, and cultural history, with a particular focus on E. J. W. Gibb's contributions to Ottoman poetry studies.

She analyzes archival materials, marginalia, and correspondence to reconstruct Gibb's scholarly methodologies and their impact on modern interpretations of Ottoman poetry.
