Nadir Kaplan

Nadir Kaplan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), affiliated with the College of Science. His research focuses on theoretical condensed matter physics, with emphasis on biophysical systems, soft matter, and computational modeling. He holds a Ph.D. from Brandeis University.

Key research interests include cell migration dynamics under confinement, hydrogel mechanics, viscoelastic material behavior, and multiscale modeling of biological systems.
