Nadin Moustafa

Nadin Moustafa is a Researcher at Imperial College London, affiliated with the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Centre for Environmental Policy within the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Her work focuses on systems modeling for carbon management, decarbonization technologies, and net-zero strategies, integrating socio-economic and techno-economic analyses of energy systems.

She holds an MEng in Chemical Engineering with a Business Management minor from the University of Birmingham and a PhD from Imperial College London, where her research centered on improving aqueous-amine solvents for carbon capture processes.

Her current projects address carbon accounting, policy design, and CO2 removal technologies. She also serves as a program and policy officer at the Coalition for Negative Emissions, advancing negative emission technologies and related policies.
