Dr. Nadia Nosworthy is an Associate Professor in the School of Graduate Psychology & Counseling at Andrews University. She coordinates the Educational Psychology program and teaches courses in cognitive psychology, biological psychology, human development, and special education.

Her research focuses on foundational numerical processing skills in children. She co-developed the Numeracy Screener, a classroom assessment tool tested across Canada, Cambodia, India, and Kenya through collaborations with the World Bank's Global Partnership for Education and the African Health and Population Research Center. Her work explores cross-cultural relationships between early numerical processing and mathematics achievement.
Recent publications highlight her contributions to dyscalculia screening, symbolic/non-symbolic magnitude processing, and language-specific adaptations of assessment tools. Collaborations include international validation studies in French-Canadian contexts.
