Nadia Najjar

Nadia Najjar is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Software and Information Systems at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte), affiliated with the College of Computing and Informatics (CCI). She currently serves as the Interim Director of the Integrated Core Curriculum. Her academic roles include teaching and research leadership. She holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University, and both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computing and Informatics from UNC Charlotte.

Her research focuses on personalized adaptive learning, recommender systems, decision-support systems, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interaction. She emphasizes the integration of AI-driven solutions to enhance educational technologies and decision-making processes.

Nadia Najjar has been honored as an Honors Faculty member, with her term extending until June 2027. She maintains an active profile at the CCI, contributing to curriculum development and interdisciplinary initiatives. Her work bridges theoretical computer science concepts with practical applications in adaptive learning environments.
