معرفی
Nadia Forté is a Lecturer at the Center for Anglophone Studies (CAS), University of Toulouse – Jean Jaurès, where she has been teaching since 2008. She is affiliated with a vibrant research unit engaged in interdisciplinary Anglophone studies, contributing to teaching in the Applied Foreign Languages (LEA) program, particularly in oral comprehension and expression.
Her educational background includes the External CAPES in English (1998) and the External Aggregation in English (1999), followed by a Doctorate in 2007 from the University of Paris 7 – Denis Diderot. Her doctoral research focused on the representation of the unspeakable in the Gothic novels of Ann Radcliffe (1789–1826), supervised by Professor Frédéric Ogeé and unanimously awarded Very Honorable by the jury.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of literature, culture, and language, with a focus on Gothic fiction and the cultural significance of wine in the English-speaking world. Though no recent publications are currently listed in institutional repositories, her scholarly foundation is rooted in rigorous literary analysis and Anglophone cultural studies.
Nadia Forté contributes to a research environment that includes participation in ANR programs such as ACTiF and FEMME, as well as seminars like CASLing, Poéthiques, and WISE. While her direct involvement in labs or teams is not detailed, her affiliation with CAS places her within a dynamic network of scholars exploring destabilization, hospitality, and crisis in Anglophone contexts.
