Māra Grēve is an Acting Lecturer in the Statistics Unit, specializing in biostatistics and public health research. Her work bridges academic research with practical applications, particularly in healthcare and education. She holds expertise in UN SDG-related areas including health sciences (3.2, 3.3) and educational sciences (5.1, 5.3).
Her research focuses on three main areas: 1) Biostatistical analysis of infectious diseases like pneumococcal infections, 2) Mental health of healthcare workers during pandemics, and 3) innovative educational methods combining equine gestalt coaching for life skills development. She has contributed to studies on antibiotic resistance patterns and patient experience metrics in Latvia.
