Márton Orosz

Márton Orosz is a Research Fellow and Visiting Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), affiliated with the Art, Culture, and Technology Program in the School of Architecture + Planning. He is the inaugural recipient of the György Kepes Fellowship for Advanced Studies and Transdisciplinary Research in Art, Culture, and Technology. Prior to MIT, he served as Curator of the Collection of Photography and Media Arts at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, Hungary. Orosz is currently preparing a Ph.D. dissertation and a monograph on Hungarian artist and MIT Institute Professor György Kepes while pursuing doctoral studies at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest.

His research focuses on interdisciplinary intersections of art, technology, and cultural history, with particular emphasis on 20th-century avant-garde movements and the legacy of György Kepes. His curatorial experience and academic work reflect a commitment to bridging artistic practice, technological innovation, and cultural critique.
