Myriam C. Sander

Myriam C. Sander is a faculty member at the International Max Planck Research School on the Life Course (LIFE) and the Berlin School of Mind and Brain, affiliated with the Max Planck Institute for Human Development. Her research focuses on lifespan changes in memory processes, neural oscillations, and cognitive aging.

• Development of perception and memory across the lifespan
• Working and episodic memory mechanisms
• Neuronal correlates of aging (oscillations and activity patterns)

• Alpha/beta desynchronization
• Memory consolidation during sleep
• Cortical and hippocampal structural integrity
