Mykola Perestyuk

Professor Mykola Perestyuk holds a prominent position at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where he serves as Head of the Department of Integral and Differential Equations and Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. His career spans decades of leadership in mathematical research and education, including roles as Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics (1987-2003).

• Key research areas: Impulse systems, stability theory of differential equations, invariant sets analysis, and nonlinear dynamics

His seminal work includes establishing stability criteria for impulse differential equations, developing approximation algorithms, and proving Bogolyubov-type theorems. Current projects focus on the comprehensive program Modern Mathematical Problems of Science, Economics and Finance.

As scientific supervisor of the interdepartmental research theme Development of new analytical-geometric methods for invariant sets, he leads a team of 9 mathematicians including 5 D.Sc. holders. He also serves on editorial boards of international journals in Georgia, Hungary, and Singapore.
