Myeong Lee is an Assistant Professor of Information Science and Director of the Community Informatics Lab at George Mason University (GMU), School of Computing. His research focuses on local communities, technology-enabled groups, and information inequality, with a goal to enhance civic engagement and public policy through mixed-method approaches. He holds a PhD in Information Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park, and master’s degrees in Information Management and Software Engineering, alongside a BS in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.
