Mustjoki Satu

Satu Mustjoki is a Professor of Translational Hematology at the University of Helsinki (UH), Finland, and holds leadership roles such as Director of the Translational Immunology Research Program (2019–2025) and former Head of the Department at the Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) Comprehensive Cancer Center (2018). She is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine, UH, and specializes in hematology and immunology. Her research spans somatic mutations in non-malignant diseases, NK cell biology, and personalized medicine. She has led over 20 international grants totaling millions in funding, including ERC Consolidator (€2.047M) and NIH/Academy of Finland collaborations.
