Mustafa YAŞAR is a Professor at Karabük University, currently affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering in the Mechatronics Engineering Department since 2024. Previously, he served in the Faculty of Technology under the Industrial Design Engineering Department (2013–2023) and the Metal Education Department (2008–2013).
- Academic Education: PhD in Mechanical Education (2001) and Master’s in Mechanical Education (1996) from Marmara University and Dumlupınar University.
- Research Areas: Focus on Computer-Aided Design, Machine Design, Material Behavior, and Computer-Aided Manufacturing.
His recent publications (2017–2025) span Biomaterials, Tribology, Wear Analysis, and Industrial Design, with methodologies including Finite Element Analysis, Surface Hardening, and Infiltration Techniques. Key projects involve 3D Printing Education, Detonation Forming, and Biodegradable Magnesium Scaffolds.
Collaborations include researchers from Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Karabük University, and international institutions. He has supervised 16 theses, including PhD and Master’s students.
