Dr. Mustafa Hadj-Nacer is a Research Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. His research focuses on heat transfer phenomena in nuclear waste containment systems and micro-scale thermal processes.
Current projects include computational modeling of UNF canister thermodynamics during vacuum drying and experimental validation of heat transfer in rarefied gas environments. His work advances safety protocols for nuclear material transportation and storage through multi-scale thermal analysis.
