His academic work focuses on early childhood education, curriculum development, and values education with particular emphasis on Ahilik traditions.
His educational background includes a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Thesis) from Ahi Evran University's Institute of Social Sciences (2013-2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Classroom Teaching from Gazi University's Kırşehir Faculty of Education (2005-2009).
ASLANDEREN's research interests span multiple dimensions of educational science, with primary focus on Curriculum and Instruction, Early Childhood Education, and Values Education. His work demonstrates particular expertise in integrating traditional Turkish Ahilik values into modern educational contexts. He has developed assessment tools for measuring parental competence in child education and Ahilik values adoption among artisans. His recent research has increasingly focused on educational technology integration, especially in preschool teacher training and vocational education settings.
His 23 publications since 2014 show an evolving research trajectory from foundational work on Ahilik values and parental competence to contemporary issues in educational technology and AI-focused pedagogy. The most recent publications (2023-2024) demonstrate a strong emphasis on curriculum analysis for preschool education, critical thinking development, and children's rights perspectives. His current TÜBA and TÜBİTAK-supported project on AI-focused pedagogy for preschool education represents the cutting edge of his research agenda.
ASLANDEREN has established productive collaborations with researchers from multiple institutions, most notably Rüştü Yeşil from Sakarya University (12 joint publications), Enver Şahan from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University (4 publications), and Nihat Çalışkan (3 publications). His collaborative network extends to Yozgat Bozok University and other institutions, demonstrating interdisciplinary reach across educational sciences.
