Murray Camens is an Adjunct Professor at Monash University's Department of Design within the Faculty of Art Design & Architecture. He contributes to the Health Collab, a design research lab addressing modern healthcare challenges. His career spans over four decades in global design leadership roles with companies like Philips Design and TEAGUE. Camens holds a Product Design Diploma from the University of South Australia (1974–1977).
Research interests focus on strategic design innovation, medical device design, and healthcare solutions. He has pioneered projects like the Micro-X Head CT scanner, earning international recognition. Key awards include the 2024 DIA Award and multiple iF/CES design accolades.
