Murat Külahci

Murat Külahci is a Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, and concurrently a Professor at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden. His research focuses on experimental design, statistical process control, time series analysis, financial engineering, and big data analytics. He has collaborated with industries on big data and digital manufacturing projects, with over 80 journal articles and two books.

Research Interests: Large data analytics for descriptive, inferential, and predictive purposes; high-dimensional, high-frequency data analysis; chemometrics and machine learning applications. His work contributes to sustainable development through advanced manufacturing and process optimization.

Advising & Grants:

• Supervises PhD students in projects like Predictive Maintenance, Digital Moulding 4.0, and GLP-1 Pharmaceutical Optimization
• Active in industry-academia collaborations, including big data analytics for manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors

Labs/Teams: Involved in interdisciplinary teams focusing on predictive manufacturing, process understanding, and advanced polymer manufacturing technologies.
