Murat Bayiz

Murat Bayiz is a Clinical Professor and Assistant Chair at the Department of Data Sciences and Operations at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. He has over two decades of combined management consulting and academic experience, specializing in operations strategy and teaching core and elective courses across undergraduate, MS in GSCM, and MBA programs.

• Teaching Excellence: Recipient of six Golden Apple Awards and the Evan Thompson Award for Teaching and Learning Innovation.
• Research Focus: Operations management, supply chain strategy, project management, and workforce requirements modeling.

Prior to USC, he worked at PRTM Management Consultants (acquired by PwC) and Kiran Analytics. He teaches courses like Project Management (DSO-580) and Spreadsheet Modeling for Business Insights (DSO-547).
