Associate Professor Murad Tayebjee is a faculty member at the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering, University of New South Wales (UNSW). His research focuses on spectral management for solar cells, ultrafast laser spectroscopy, and renewable energy. He holds a PhD from the University of Sydney (2012) and has held fellowships at UNSW and the University of Cambridge. Currently, he leads a research group advancing solar energy harvesting technologies.

Research Interests:
Tayebjee uses lasers to study light-matter interactions, aiming to design novel solar devices. Key areas include singlet fission, multiexciton dynamics, and hot-carrier solar cells. He explores molecular and material systems to enhance photovoltaic efficiency beyond conventional limits.
