Dr. Mumen Al-Badarin has been a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic at Bethlehem University, Faculty of Arts, since 2001. A native of Alsamou city in the southern West Bank, he brings deep regional and linguistic expertise to his teaching and research.

Research Focus
Dr. Al-Badarin’s scholarly activities concentrate on three complementary pillars: classical and modern Arabic grammar, Arabic phonetics, and evidence-based methodologies for teaching Arabic as a first and second language. His research integrates descriptive linguistic analysis with pedagogical innovation, aiming to enhance curriculum design and learner outcomes in Arabic language programs.
Professional Contributions
He has actively disseminated his findings through numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and regular participation in international and national conferences on education and linguistics. In addition, he has engaged in professional development via multidisciplinary workshops and short courses organized by AMIDEAST and partner Palestinian universities, including Notre Dame University.
