Muhammad Shahbaz is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan, where he leads the NextGArch Lab. His research spans computer systems, networks, and architecture, focusing on domain-specific abstractions and programmable infrastructure for emerging workloads like machine learning and 5G networks.
