Muhammad Nawaz Dharejo is a Researcher at the Institute of Veterinary Epidemiology and Biometry within the Department of Veterinary Medicine at Freie Universität Berlin. He contributes to the Center for Veterinary Public Health's mission in veterinary epidemiology and biometry through active participation in key research initiatives.
His research focuses on Veterinary Epidemiology and Biometry with specialized expertise in Antibiotic Resistance monitoring and Infectious Disease Modeling in livestock populations. He is instrumental in the MEDICow project for cattle disease surveillance and supports the ENVIRE consortium's nationwide tracking of antimicrobial resistance patterns in dogs, cats, and horses. His work bridges veterinary science and public health through rigorous statistical analysis of disease transmission dynamics.
As part of the Applied Epidemiology Group, Mr. Dharejo collaborates on critical projects including HKPMon for companion animal antibiotic resistance data collection and PAC-Campy's One Health approach to combating Campylobacter infections.
