Muhammad Ismail is an Associate Professor and Director of the Cybersecurity Education, Research, and Outreach Center (CEROC) at the Computer Science Department of Tennessee Tech University's Faculty of Engineering. He has over 12 years of experience from institutions like Texas A&M University at Qatar, University of Waterloo, and Ain Shams University.
His research focuses on cyber-physical security, quantum networks, AI-assisted cybersecurity, smart grids, blockchain, and machine learning. He leads projects integrating graph neural networks and quantum cryptography for resilient infrastructure.
Recent publications analyze 6G IoT resource allocation, FDIA detection in smart grids, LiFi authentication, and blockchain for energy systems, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach.
