Muhammad Hamid Zaman is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Global Health at Boston University's College of Engineering. He also serves as Vice Chair of Biomedical Engineering and Director of the Center on Forced Displacement.
- Education: PhD, University of Chicago
His research focuses on improving healthcare access for vulnerable populations, including refugees and displaced communities, while examining the intersection of environmental degradation and health equity. As Director of the Center on Forced Displacement, he leads initiatives addressing the challenges faced by displaced populations. He is affiliated with the Institute for Global Sustainability (IGS) at Boston University.
