Mpho Ramoejane

Dr. Mpho Ramoejane is a geneticist and Lecturer at the Department of Zoology and Entomology, University of the Free State (Qwaqwa campus). His research focuses on the diversity and conservation of mountain animals, with emphasis on ichthyology, mammalogy, herpetology, and molecular genetics.

• PhD in Ichthyology from Rhodes University
• Collaborating with Prof. Peter Taylor and SAIAB on Maloti Drakensberg small mammals
• Founded the Animal Molecular Genetics research group in 2020
• Reviewer for the Journal of Fish Biology
