Moustafa El-Gindy

Dr. Moustafa El-Gindy is a Professor in the Department of Automotive and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. He holds a PhD (Mechanical Engineering) from the Technical University of Budapest (1980), and degrees from Ain Shams University, Egypt.

His research focuses on vehicle dynamics, crash testing, tire mechanics, and heavy vehicle simulation. Notable contributions include establishing the Vehicle Simulation Laboratory (1998) and the Truck Driving Simulator Laboratory (1998), totaling $700,000+ in external funding.
