Mouhammad Abu Rasheed is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, University of Oslo (UiO), affiliated with the CompSci doctoral program under the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. His research focuses on catalysis, materials science, and machine learning applications in chemistry.

Research Interests: He investigates catalytic systems including homogeneous/heterogeneous catalysis, mechanistic studies, and materials characterization. His work integrates experimental methods with computational tools, particularly exploring applications like methane-to-methanol conversion and CO₂ hydrogenation. Recent projects include studies on Cu-bipyridine complexes and bioinspired metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).
Publications: Recent work includes contributions to Catalysis Today and Dalton Transactions, focusing on catalytic mechanisms and MOF-based materials.
Affiliations: Member of the Catalysis and Organic Chemistry research groups, and part of the CompSci initiative combining computational science with traditional chemistry.
