Moses Kangogo

Dr. Moses Kangogo is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Finance at the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics (TSBE), University of Tasmania. His research focuses on financial markets, banking, empirical finance, and sustainable finance, with a particular emphasis on systemic risk, housing finance, and ESG integration. He has contributed to projects funded by the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute, examining regional housing market spillovers and affordability. Moses teaches courses on financial institutions, corporate finance, and sustainable finance, emphasizing experiential learning through live case studies and industry collaboration.

His academic journey includes a PhD in Financial Economics from UTAS, where he investigated vulnerability dynamics in global financial networks. Prior to academia, he worked as a data analyst in Kenya’s health insurance sector and as a teaching assistant in statistics at JKUAT. Moses actively engages in community initiatives, mentoring young students through sports programs in Hobart.
