Morten Sebastian Hoegh is an Associate Professor at the Department of Health Science and Technology, Aalborg University, affiliated with The Faculty of Medicine. His academic career includes a PhD in Medicine/Pain (2015-2019) and an MSc in Pain: Science & Society from King's College London (2010-2012). He specializes in pain science, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and chronic pain management, with a focus on improving pain education globally through initiatives like the EFIC Academy and the European Pain Federation's educational programs.
- Leadership roles: Vice-chair of EFIC Education Committee (2018-2020), Chair of EFIC Academy (2021–present), and member of Danish Medicine & Health Authorities and Danish Council of Ethics.
