Morten Ryberg is an External Lecturer at the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He specializes in environmental sustainability assessments, particularly focusing on planetary boundaries, climate change, and life cycle analysis. His work contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasizing environmental impact assessments and sustainable urban development.
Research interests include absolute sustainability frameworks, environmental policy evaluation, and the application of planetary boundaries in decision-making. Key areas of study involve plastic pollution, renewable energy systems, and carbon-neutral building designs. Ryberg has contributed to over 66 publications and actively participates in projects addressing circular economy strategies and climate targets in construction.
