Morten Olgaard Jensen is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Arkansas and an Arkansas Research Alliance Scholar. He serves as Chief Technology Officer for VeinTek LLC and Vivas LLC, focusing on venous valve and flow model phantom development. Additionally, he holds clinical and adjunct roles at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Aarhus University.

He specializes in hemodynamics, medical device design, and biomechanical validation of computational models, with contributions to NIH guidelines for heart surgery device design.
His academic accolades include Fellow of the American Heart Association, multiple Outstanding Teaching Awards, and the Arkansas Research Alliance Scholar Award. He has mentored award-winning student projects and served on NIH, NSF, and DoD grant review panels.
Jensen has developed courses in cardiovascular biomechanics, fluid mechanics, and medical instrumentation. His lab collaborates with industry partners on FDA-approved devices and fosters international academic partnerships through student exchange programs.
