Morten Christoffersen

Morten Christoffersen is a Research Assistant at the Department of Communication and Psychology within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Aalborg University. He is a behavioral psychologist whose work focuses on individual differences in human needs and personality traits. Previously, he completed his PhD studies at Aarhus University and worked as a clinical psychologist at the Centre for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Aarhus University Hospital. His primary research investigates how individual differences, including intelligence and reinforcement sensitivity, shape treatment outcomes, well-being, and loneliness.

Christoffersen's educational background includes doctoral training at Aarhus University where his thesis is currently under assessment. His clinical experience at Aarhus University Hospital provided practical foundation for his research interests. He has taught a 15 ECTS course titled 'A Behavioral Approach to Psychological Theory and Psychotherapy' at Aarhus University and delivered lectures on developmental psychology topics.
