Morris H. Stocks is a Professor and Don Jones Chair of Accountancy at the Patterson School of Accountancy, University of Mississippi, where he has been a faculty member since 1991. He previously served in key administrative roles including Provost, Executive Vice Chancellor (with a year as Interim Chancellor), and Dean of the Patterson School. Under his deanship, the school achieved a top-25 national accounting program ranking for the first time.
