Moritz Wolf

Dr. Moritz Wolf serves as a Tenure-Track Professor (Assistant Professor) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), holding the dedicated position of Catalyst Materials for the Energy Transition within the Institute of Catalysis Research and Technology (IKFT). His work directly supports KIT's mission in sustainable energy research through material innovation and industrial-scale process development.

His research program centers on:

• Design and synthesis of advanced catalyst materials
• Scalable production methods for energy transition technologies
• Material characterization for industrial applications
• Process engineering bridging laboratory and commercial implementation

As group leader of the Material Synthesis and Scale-up research unit at IKFT, he directs efforts to transform fundamental catalytic discoveries into practical energy solutions. His team operates within KIT's Hermann-von-Helmholtz-Platz campus infrastructure, focusing on accelerating clean energy technology deployment through materials engineering.
