Moritz Mosenhauer is a Professor at the Management Center Innsbruck, specializing in Organisational Economics, Experimental Finance, and Behavioural Economics. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. from the University of Glasgow (2020), an M.Sc. from the University of Munich (2015), and a B.A. from Ruhr-University Bochum (2012). He has held roles as an Assistant Professor (2019–2023) and Research Assistant at institutions such as the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition.
His research focuses on behavioral finance, organizational decision-making, and experimental economics. Notable awards include the 2019 Student Teaching Award for best postgraduate instructor and recognition for teaching excellence at the University of Glasgow. He has supervised numerous bachelor and master theses, emphasizing topics like financial literacy, trading behavior, and mental health prioritization.
His articles explore gambling-driven stock trading, investment biases, and salience effects in management. He is a member of the Society for Experimental Finance and has presented at conferences such as LTEC 2022 and the Experimental Finance 2022 conference.
