Moritz Gobbert

Moritz Gobbert is a Research Fellow in the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) group at the University of Trier's Faculty IV (Computer Science) since July 2022. He holds a PhD from Trier University (2022) with a dissertation titled Memory Distance: A Different Metric for Analyzing Algorithm Performance, proposing an alternative complexity measure for real-world algorithm performance prediction.

His research focuses on interdisciplinary projects like FlexiTeams (with DFKI and Industrial Psychology dept.), exploring AI-driven staff allocation during crises. Key areas include AI-human interface design, computational complexity analysis, and crisis management systems.

Publications span game theory, combinatorial game complexity, and algorithmic frameworks, with contributions to discrete mathematics and automata applications.
