Morgane Frapin, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki's Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences, affiliated with the Organismal and Evolutionary Biology Research Programme. Her work focuses on ecology, evolutionary biology, and epitranscriptomics, particularly in aquatic species.
- Current Project: Life-history genes in fishes (2023-2027), funded by the European Research Council (ERC).
- Research Themes: Genetic regulation of lipid metabolism in Atlantic salmon, neurodevelopmental consequences of maternal nutrition, and epitranscriptomic mechanisms in sexual maturation.
