Morgan Pratchett is a Research Professor and Chief Investigator at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies, James Cook University. His work focuses on coral reef ecology, particularly climate change impacts, crown-of-thorns starfish outbreaks, and coral-fish interactions. He has held prestigious fellowships including the Queensland Smart Futures Fellowship and ARC Australian Research Fellow.
