Montserrat Lopez Jerez is a Visiting Research Fellow affiliated with the Department of Economic History at Lund University. Her work bridges development economics and economic history, focusing on colonial legacies, institutional impacts, and economic transformation in the Global South, particularly in Asia.
Her research interests include:
- Development economics and economic history
- Colonialism’s long-term institutional effects
