Montague Williams is a Professor of Church, Culture and Society at Point Loma Nazarene University since 2017. An ordained Church of the Nazarene Elder with 20+ years of ministry experience, he specializes in Wesleyan Theology, Martin Luther King Jr. ethics, ethnography, and practical theology. His research focuses on multiracial ministry contexts and ecclesiological innovation for youth ministry.
- Education: Ph.D. in Theological Studies (Boston University), M.Div. Honors (Nazarene Theological Seminary), M.A. in Religion & B.A. in Religion (Olivet Nazarene University)
His publications address racial harmony, trauma-responsive congregations, and narrative ecclesiology. He has presented at major theological conferences including American Academy of Religion and Wesleyan Theological Society.
