Monique Mayer

Dr. Monique Mayer is a Professor of veterinary radiation oncology in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan's Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She holds a DVM from WCVM, completed an internship in California, and earned an MS in Mammalian Radiobiology from Colorado State University (2004). She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (Radiation Oncology).

• Oncologic imaging integration
• Radiation safety protocols
• Treatment precision optimization

She established WCVM's radiation oncology program and collaborates with human medicine researchers. Recent publications (2018-2020) focus on stereotactic applications for soft tissue sarcomas and nasal tumors, imaging-guided radiotherapy, and radiation safety practices.

She leads radiation therapy services while teaching undergraduate and graduate students.
